DAY 6  Navigating the Classroom

Embarking on the 6th day of my teaching practice at VPS Malankara HSS Venganoor brought forth a whirlwind of experiences. From the serene teachers' prayer to the lively classroom of 9C, the day unfolded with a rhythm uniquely its own.

In the midst of preparing for a session on polynomials, the morning hours were a blend of anticipation and multitasking. The classroom became a canvas for problem-solving, with discussions igniting curiosity and 'aha' moments lighting up the room.

The post-lesson period transitioned into the meticulous task of checking and correcting notes, reinforcing the day's teachings. Lunch brought a pause for camaraderie, with conversations with colleagues adding a human touch to the routine.

As the clock ticked towards 3:30 pm, the school day concluded, leaving behind a tapestry of challenges, triumphs, and moments of connection.



DAY 7 Teacher-in-Training

And what a day it was!

We kicked things off with a special touch – it was Children's Day at the school. The morning assembly was filled with festive energy as we celebrated the achievements of our students and witnessed them taking an anti-drug pledge. 🎉

The day took a serious turn when the principal addressed the growing conflicts among students, emphasizing the need for immediate action. It was a stark reminder of the broader responsibilities we hold as educators.

My teaching practice was observed by our principal, Dr. Preetha Ma'am. Nervous but excited, I delved into the world of polynomials with my class. The use of a teaching aid (a chart) and active student participation seemed to impress Dr. Preetha Ma'am, earning me positive feedback on my classroom instruction. 📝👩‍🏫

After a quick lunch, the afternoon was dedicated to refining lesson plans and writing reflective journals. The day wrapped up with line duty and signing attendance registers – all part of the comprehensive role a teacher plays in a school community.

As the clock struck 3:30 p.m., we bid adieu to VPS Malankara HSS Venganoor, grateful for the experiences and learning opportunities that each day brings. Stay tuned for more tales from the teacher's desk!








Day 8 "A Day in the Life of a Teaching Practicum''

My eighth day of teaching practice at VPS Malankara HSS Venganoor was a whirlwind of challenges and victories. The morning started with a serene teachers' prayer, but the principal's concerns about student conflicts set the tone for the day.

Assigned to Class 9C, I tackled a problem-solving session on polynomials, finding the class surprisingly manageable. Skipping lunch serving, I spent the afternoon planning future lessons and updating my blog, wrapping up the day with line duty and the national anthem.

From addressing conflicts to completing a successful class, the day encapsulated the highs and lows of teaching. Each moment held its own lesson, making it a day to remember in this teaching journey.

Day 9 : A Day of Engaging Learning and Connection

Today at VPS Malankara HSS Venganoor was all about vibrant learning and connection. Engaged in an interactive session on circle measures with 9C, exploring polygons, and fostering meaningful connections with students.The day was a perfect blend of interactive teaching, meaningful discussions, and reflective moments. Looking forward to more enriching experiences ahead!


Day 10 : A Day of Collaboration and Learning

Today marked the 10th day of my teaching practice at VPS Malankara HSS Venganoor. While there was no class scheduled, the day turned into a valuable experience as we met with colleagues from a nearby school, sharing stories and insights from our respective teaching journeys. It was a cool and enriching time, strengthening bonds and building a sense of camaraderie. Looking forward to more collaborative moments ahead! 🌐✨

Day 34 of My Teaching Practice  29.07.2024                                                                                                                             Monday  Today marked the 34th day of my teaching practice. I arrived at school by 8:45 a.m. and started with substitution duty in class 10B during the first period. For my allotted periods, which were the third and sixth, my mentor teacher was on leave, so I took over both periods.
